Stepping Stones Recovery Homes
Stepping Stones staff work closely with new residents and support the needs of all housing units. Each house democratically elects a house president, who assists with leading meetings, intake of new residents, and reporting to Stepping Stones staff in the case of an issue. They are trusted servants who have a vested interest in the smooth functioning of the housing environment. Stepping Stones housing is based on the Oxford model operating on the concept of group accountability, democratically run by residents. Stepping Stones is not a treatment center nor a traditional halfway house.
Recovery Residences are a great way to meet people with a common goal! Living in a sober living/halfway house is a great experience that leads to long term sobriety. Our program is $1100 a month and includes everything but food. Stepping Stones of Atlanta is also part of some non-profits that offer scholarships for those seeking treatment. Harbor House
The program was gracious when I was struggling to get back on my feet and has provided safety and support as I fight my way back to recovery. I am now 6 months clean and sober, I am employed full time, I am learning to care for myself and my needs and I have a safe place to call home. I know without a doubt I would not still be clean and sober without the foundation I have been gifted with at Stepping Stones.
Our origins are in the tradition of Oxford House, we evolved as our residents needed more support than a strictly peer-run recovery organization could provide. Using this experience, Callan decided to organize a more structured living situation for himselfand his newly sober friends. The basic rules of the house would center on accountability,sponsorship, meeting schedules, and house rules. If people wanted to follow these rules theycould be his roommates. Callan also thought it better to include only men, having observed thatthe co-ed living environment is not always ideal for those in early recovery. Transitional housing is provided for (90) day sober living and Independent Sober Living for up to (3 years) for those in recovery from drug & alcoholism addiction.

This property sits on a beautiful 3 acres and is open to single women and women with children. Stepping Stones is a 501(c)3 faith based drug/alcohol recovery program for men ages years of age.
Transitional housing is temporary housing for the working homeless population and is set up to transition their residents to permanent housing. Coaching, resume development, mock interviews, skill assessments; are all components of a new residents’ job search strategy. Accountability is one of the main principles at Stepping Stones Sober Living to assist in an effective transition.
Christian Sober Living Homes for Men Ages 18-55
In 2002, Callan opened a second branch of that houseand ran both residences as sober houses. He moved into the new house to guide and support thenew roommates and hired a house manager for the original residence. On March 1, 1996, Callan came to Minnesota ready to get sober. He went through extended primary treatment, a halfway house, sober house, and the apartment that started the network of sober houses that Callan runs today.

Our sober living homes are group residences for men who are struggling with addiction from alcohol and drugs. In most instances, men who live in sober homes have to follow certain house rules and contribute to the home by doing chores. Most importantly, residents must stay sober throughout their stay in the home. Living in this type of environment can promote lasting recovery–helping men to maintain their sobriety as they adjust in life both during and after treatment. Many men use sober housing to help make the transition from rehab to living independently without using drugs or alcohol.
At Stepping Stones we charge $675 – $750 per month for rent as well as a one-time $25 admin fee. In addition, there is a $275 – $500 sober deposit which will be returned to you if you stay sober during your stay with us. We’ve already pre-filled as much information as we know about the house.
Transitional housing for women in Sacramento who are either coming out of treatment or in recovery and want a supportive clean and sober living environment to get back on their feet. We are a place of healing, hope and success that will allow you to live life without drugs or alcohol. We operate on the principles found in the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. We offer a sober living environment that focuses on unity, service and recovery.
Three-quarter house offers a structured, transitional living program for adult men recovering from alcohol and drug addictions. Residents are required to participate in recovery support groups. Each Harbor House has a dedicated house manager whose responsibility is to ensure the well being of the house occupants.
